Frequently asked questions

Another question? Write to me.

How does a back-end handle very high volume?

By decoupling: message queues, asynchronous processing, horizontal scaling, and monitoring that alerts you before things fail. I have worked on a mediation bus that routes more than 20 million notifications a day.

Can you work on an existing back-end?

Yes. I start with an assessment (code, infrastructure, weak points), then propose fixes in priority order, without rewriting everything.

How do you secure an API?

Authentication (tokens, API keys), access control, input validation, rate limiting and logging.

REST or real-time?

REST for most exchanges; real-time (WebSocket) when information has to arrive instantly: live tracking, chat, multiplayer. The two often coexist.
