Web app or installed software?
A web app runs in the browser with nothing to install, and updates for everyone at once. It's the right choice for most business tools; desktop software makes sense for offline work or large volumes of local files.
Can you take over an existing application?
Yes. I start by reading the code and the infrastructure to assess where things stand, then propose fixes and improvements in order of priority.
Where is the application hosted?
With the host of your choice (dedicated server, cloud) or on your own infrastructure. I set up deployment, backups and monitoring.
How long does it take?
It depends on the scope. A first usable prototype arrives early, then the software grows in short iterations, with regular check-ins.
